The Scheduler coordinates and schedules Community Health Workers based on client care plans, policies, and collective agreements. The role also involves performing outside of work on-call duties.
Reporting to the Home Support Services Manager or Coordinator, the Scheduler coordinates and schedules Community Health Workers (Home Support Workers) in accordance with established policies and procedures, client care plans and applicable collective agreements. Performs outside of work on-call duties.QUALIFICATIONS:Education & Experience Grade 12 with course work in health care, computer training and scheduling experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesProven proficient computer skillsPhysical and mental ability to carry on the duties of the positionAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Ability to communicate effectively and work with othersAbility to organize, plan and prioritize workAbility to work under pressure.The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes.
