Provide intake, assessment, and short-term outcome-focused counseling to youth and families facing psychological and behavioral challenges. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based interventions and integrated care.
Requires a Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology and registration with a recognized professional body. Must possess a valid BC Driver's License, First Aid certificate, and experience in youth mental health and substance use assessments.
and Experience Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field. Registration (or eligibility) with a recognized professional body. Experience providing counseling to youth and families using evidence-based approaches. Experienced in the use of screening and comprehensive assessments for mental health, substance use, suicide and high-risk behaviors using standardized frameworks and tools. Strong knowledge of community resources and collaborative care models. Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills. Required Cultural sensitivity and understanding of diverse socio-cultural backgrounds. Familiarity with harm reduction practices. Valid First Aid Certificate (with CPR) Successful completion of: criminal record check professional references Valid BC Driver’s License, reliable vehicle, and clean driver’s abstract. Adherence to organizational policies, confidentiality agreements, and Code of Ethics. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when necessary.
