Position Overview Under the direction of the Transition Manager, the Receptionist/Clerk provides clerical services to the Transition Manager and to other members of the Long-Term Care Access Centre. Clerical services include: reception, word processing, data entry, record keeping, filing, mail distribution, payroll and scheduling appointments/meetings. The Receptionist/Clerk also performs other related duties as assigned and consistent with the job classification. Experience Experience scheduling and coordinating meetings. Experience with email and computerized calendars. Previous health care experience would be an asset. Experience with using a Dictaphone.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) High school graduation with formal training in business and office procedures or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Physical Requirements Required to work for long periods of time at a computer. Required to lift boxes of up to 20 lbs.
