Switchboard operator

Position Summary

• Northern Health is looking for an experienced, highly efficient, and self-directed Switchboard Operator to support the Switchboard/Admitting department. In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Clinical Dietitian provides nutrition care through nutritional assessment, goal setting, intervention, and counseling of inpatients, outpatients, residents and/or community care clients within professional scope of practice, and established policies, procedures and standards. Collaborates with members of the health care team. Provides orientation, guidance, and collegial information to others including peers, new staff, and students. Please submit your resume. • Grade 12 plus one year's recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to type 45 w.p.m.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
• Ability to organize work.
