• Clinic: Academy Dental is located in a charming historic home in Victoria, BC. We provide state-of-the-art care in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our clinic follows the Kois principles, emphasizing evidence-based dentistry, advanced treatment planning, and comprehensive patient care. • What you’ll do: Perform a full range of clinical hygiene services—including scaling, root planing, polishing, and applying topical fluoride—with precision and care. Assess and case type patients in alignment with clinical protocols to ensure personalized and effective care plans. Educate patients on oral health and preventative care strategies to support long-term wellness. Build strong, trusting relationships with patients through every interaction. Create a positive and tailored experience for each patient based on their individual needs.
• What you’ll bring to the role: Completion of a recognized Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree program. NEW GRADS WELCOME Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing in BC. Local Anesthetic Certificate considered an asset. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. A collaborative mindset and ability to work both independently and within a team. Experience with Open Dental and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is a bonus.
