Job Summary The Phoenix Recovery Centre is an addiction recovery center specializing in out-patient treatment. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Staff Pharmacist in Saint John who has experience in a community-based setting and the ideal Pharmacy candidate should have exceptional customer outreach experience. Responsibilities

Oversees all aspects of operations including order entry, compounding, medication dispensing processes are accurate, focusing on timely delivery, reporting, invoicing, ordering, shipping and receiving, and inventory management Administer medication to patients with supervised ingestion of opioid agonist maintenance treatment Administer injections in accordance with College of Pharmacy directives Ensures compliance with federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations, policies and procedures and accrediting body standards Participating in interdisciplinary care planning Proactively identifies and suggests resolutions to staffing, dispensing, delivery, and reimbursement issues Participates in the development of new and innovative ways to improve processes Obtains, interprets, and evaluates all physicians’ medication orders to assure therapeutic appropriateness, cost effectiveness, accuracy and completeness. Accurately maintains all legally required records. Assists in the training and orientation of new employees. Assists in reviewing and updating the company Policy and Procedure manual Maintains appropriate inventory levels and preferred product selection of drugs, solutions and supplies. Works cohesively with and delegates appropriately to other team members Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree Licensed in good standing with the New Brunswick College of Pharmacists and able to prescribe for minor ailments and injection certified Pharmacist Experience in dispensing Opioid Agonist Treatment is a strong asset Strong team player and leadership skills Demonstrates compassion and empathy for patients Provide initiative and good judgment in emergency and crisis situations. High regard for confidentiality and advocacy for patients. Demonstrate commitment to continuing education and willing to participate in ongoing education to upgrade knowledge and skills. Demonstrate ability to plan and establish workload priorities in collaboration with others. Why Join Phoenix Recovery Centre?
