As a Health Care Aide, you are responsible as a key member of the interdisciplinary team, to provide the highest quality of resident care in accordance with facility policies, procedures, and protocols. Care is provided under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This position reports directly to the Resident Care Manager. Job Responsibilities:
Health Care Aide Certificate from an approved Manitoba Government Advanced Education and Training Health Care Aide Course is required Experience in a long-term care setting is an asset. Good written and verbal communication skills in English. Good organizational abilities, with a particular emphasis on time management Good interpersonal skills and an expressed willingness to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
