Develop and maintain individual and group physiotherapy services to optimize client independence and physical function. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based care and promote overall quality of life.
Requires a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy and current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Candidates must possess strong clinical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, and experience in program implementation.
This position is responsible for developing and maintaining a full range of individual and group physiotherapy services to optimize, maintain or rehabilitate clients to the highest possible level of independence in movement and physical function. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the Physiotherapist serves as a resource for clients and team members, promoting health, independence, and quality of life through evidence-based practice.
Part-time (22.50 hours per week) Monday, Wednesday, and Friday each week.
Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from a recognized university or equivalent. Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO). Eligibility for membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA). Experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation. Understanding of the social determinants of health and evidence-based healthcare practices. Proficiency in the use of Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, and Electronic Medical Records (Practice Solutions experience preferred). Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication and skill in challenging interactions. Demonstrated capacity to deal effectively with multiple and complex work demands accurately, effectively, and efficiently. Proven expertise in both teamwork and independent functions Welcoming of change and innovative in change management Excellence in problem-solving and conflict resolution Ability to be open and non-judgmental Demonstrated ability to work with a team, work independently and work within a community practice setting including individually with pts and group education settings Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centered approach. Commitment to health promotion, illness prevention, and addressing social determinants of health. Second language an asset Current Ontario driver’s license with access to a vehicle
