Perform Computed Tomography (CT) procedures in accordance with applicable legislation, clinical standards, and departmental procedures, and adhere to the standards of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
Under the general direction of the Manager, Medical Imaging.
1.
Minimum of an Advanced Diploma in Radiography, from an accredited college.
2.
Current Certificate of Registration in good standing with the CMRITO is required.
3.
Current Certificate of Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) is preferred.
4.
Successful completion of CT1, CT2 and CT3 (CTIC) is preferred.
5.
Contrast Injection Course Certification is required.
6.
Formal education in full body cross sectional anatomy is required.
7.
Ministry of Labour “Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps” training certificate is required.
1. Recent and relevant full scope working experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
