Provide direct care and support to adults with brain injuries, assisting with daily living tasks and personal care. Facilitate community integration and help clients maintain medical appointments and family connections.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field and a valid Massachusetts driver's license with a personal vehicle. Experience working with adults with cognitive or behavioral issues is required, and medication certification is preferred.
Assist clients with tasks of daily living to include personal care, meals and ambulation Ensure a safe living environment, providing interventions and assistance to maintain safety Support clients in integrating into their communities by utilizing community resources, encouraging memberships, and personal relationships Assist clients with medical and physical needs Help clients participate in activities, attend medical appointments, and maintain meaningful family and community connections
