Provide on-call support to an adult with developmental disabilities in their own home to help them achieve goals in their Individual Support Plan. Responsibilities include home maintenance, grocery shopping, medical appointments, and community inclusion.
Requires a diploma or equivalent experience in Disability Studies, a valid police information check with vulnerable sector search, and current First Aid/CPR certification. A vehicle and valid driver's license are considered assets.
Required Maintains and utilizes current Emergency or Standard First Aid that includes CPR/AED A current police information check with a vulnerable sectors search that is satisfactory to CASS Experience Knowledge in supporting adults with developmental disabilities preferred Required Education Diploma or equivalent experience in Disability Studies Other Required Skills A vehicle and valid driver's license is considered an asset Referral Program If you have been referred by an existing CASS staff member, please indicate who referred you in your cover letter so that they can be rewarded through our referral program!
