Job Description

Under the direction of the Manager of Nursing, the RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care in the Emergency Department.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

• Other Education and Training
• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
• Nursing diploma is acceptable

• Knowledge and Abilities
• Clinical competence in Acute Care and Emergency/Outpatient Services
• Desirable to possess a knowledge of the principles, methods and techniques

• Other Information
• Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (PALS) an asset
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) an asset
• Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
