Perform nuclear medicine radiological examinations in accordance with professional standards and ethics. Provide exemplary customer service and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requires a certificate in Medical Radiation Technology in Nuclear Medicine and current registration with CAMRT and ACMDTT. Must hold certifications in IV injections and CPR, and possess knowledge of provincial radiation legislation.
Provides exemplary customer service in the care of the patient Ensures accuracy of consultation request is verified in all cases without error Works in cooperation as part of a larger team whose primary focus is to provide exemplary customer service to the patient Performs nuclear medicine radiological procedures in a professional manner Ensures that a high quality of standards is met
Certificate in Medical Radiation Technology in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited College or University Current CAMRT (Canadian Association Medical Radiation Technologists) registration with license from Health Disciplines Board, Alberta. Current ACMDTT (Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists) certification and registration with license from Health Disciplines Board, Alberta. Certificate in IV injections Certification in CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) Knowledge of relevant provincial legislation and the regulations of the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission Licensing requirements and the requirements of the Radiation Protection Division of Alberta Labour Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills Must be perceptive, have initiative, good judgment, and concern for detail and accuracy Must be prepared to work in assigned clinics and attend meetings at various locations Working Environment Requires use of the phone, computer, and sitting for extended periods of time Normal movements of twisting, bending, reaching, and using hands and arms in completing paperwork and administrative tasks May be required to lift items up to 7 kilograms Fit or physically healthy enough to wear an N95 mask Travel to other clinics within Calgary and surrounding area is required Mayfair Diagnostics is an equal opportunity employer and values a diverse workforce that is representative of the communities we serve.
