Position Summary

We are hiring for casual Respiratory Therapists for our team at the Royal Inland Hospital. Casual means hours are not guaranteed and may vary depending on the needs of the department. Days of Work: days, evenings and nights as needed Shift times/Hours of work: 07:00 to 19:15, 19:00 to 07:15

About the Role

In this role, you will provide respiratory care in alignment with Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) standards and a client- and family-centered care model. You will work both independently and collaboratively to support clients with a range of acute and chronic cardio-respiratory conditions. This position involves consulting with other healthcare professionals, contributing to quality improvement, and applying best practices in respiratory therapy. You will also maintain and advance your clinical skills and may participate in committees, team initiatives, and approved research projects. Successful completion of the Health Professionals Testing Canada (HPTC) Credentialing Exam. Eligible for membership with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and the British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT). Current valid BC Driver’s License.
