The LPN is responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care for residents while monitoring their physiological and psychological needs. Key duties include administering medication, performing clinical procedures, and collaborating with the care team to ensure resident safety.
Candidates must be a graduate of a recognized Practical Nursing program with a valid BC Practical Nurse license in good standing. A minimum of 2 years of experience working with older adults is required.
We are currently looking to fill a temporary part-time position for a Licensed Practical Nurse at The New Vista Society located in Burnaby, BC.
Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, the LPN assess, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care for their work assignment in accordance with competency guidelines within the standards of practice as outlined by the College of LPNs of BC and current legislative scope of practice.
