Registered Veterinary Technician (Part Time) - Delton Veterinary Hospital Delton Veterinary Hospital in Edmonton, AB is seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team part time.

We are a progressive veterinary practice that treats small animals, avian species, and pocket pets.

As a dependable and team-oriented individual, you will have the opportunity to take on new roles and expand your skills while working with a diverse range of personalities.

At Delton Veterinary Hospital, we embrace new ideas and prioritize growth within our team.

Recently, all our staff have completed the cat-friendly program, leading us to implement new protocols in our clinic.

We are also exploring fear-free courses to enhance our patient care.

We value your input and encourage any ideas that contribute to the betterment of our clinic and team.

As a Registered Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in our practice.

We strive for teamwork and utilize our technicians to their full capabilities.

Our doctors conduct exams, and then you will take charge, executing treatment plans, preparing medications, and facilitating discharges.

You will also have the support of a Technical Assistant assigned to you.

Our clinic is equipped with advanced technology, including digital dental and general X-ray machines, computerized software, an in-house Idexx laboratory, an exotics-only examination room, a cat-only examination room, ultrasound, and an endoscope.

In addition to assisting doctors, you will also conduct tech appointments, utilizing your expertise to provide exceptional care.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to our ongoing renovation efforts and the enhancement of our established practice.

We are specifically looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician, however, we are open to training and working with candidates who show potential.

Our clinic manager, who is also an RVT, creates an open and supportive environment for communication.

Our candidate must have: Animal Health Technician / Veterinary Technician Diploma New grads are welcome to apply Clinical experience would be an asset Passed the VTNE or will soon be passing the VTNE Good standing with their provincial regulatory association We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualities: Team oriented mindset Personable and engaging personality Driven by their career and open to learning new skills Passionate in various fields within the clinic
