The Registered Nurse is responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care through assessment, planning, and implementation of client-centered care. They report to the Nursing Unit Manager or Director of Nursing within the General Medical Nursing unit.
Candidates must be a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse eligible for registration with the CRNS or CRPNS. Required education includes a nursing degree or diploma, with BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.

The Registered Nurse is responsible to the Nursing Unit Manager or Director of Nursing. The Registered Nurse is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region. As a member of the nursing department, the Registered Nurse has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centered care.
