Summary
Reporting to the Regional Clinical Manager, you will be providing (video, telephone and/or in person) counselling services for the TELUS Health Employee Assistance Program (EAP) in Victoria.

How: Engage in solution-focused and trauma-informed therapy, supporting a diverse range of clients and presenting concerns. Engage in other therapeutic interventions such as CBT, Narrative Therapy, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing. Utilize a strength-based approach to empower clients throughout the change process. Address a variety of issues including risk, addiction, relationship difficulties, parenting, family conflict, grief, aging, depression, anxiety, and workplace stress/conflict. Deliver exceptional clinical services while embracing the TELUS Health culture of continuous learning. Efficiently manage administrative requirements in accordance with the client's EAP model. Effectively manage intake processes, conduct thorough assessments, and develop effective treatment plans. Work independently within a shared office space alongside experienced clinicians.
What
You
Bring: Master’s Degree in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work. Registration and in good standing with BCACC, BCCSW or CCC Minimum of five years of post-master's clinical experience, supporting all client groups. Certified or extensively trained in Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Ability to set short term objectives and use a solution focused therapeutic approach, along with other therapeutic approaches. Experience and ability to clinically manage high-risk cases, including clients who are a threat to self or others. Excellent time-management skills with the ability to manage a large number of clients. Previous counselling experience working with professionals is an asset. Experience in utilizing performance metrics to enhance client satisfaction and optimize service delivery. Proven ability to work independently in a high-volume environment. Ability to prioritize and adapt to the ebb and flow of daily responsibilities.
