Emergency Veterinarian - West Coast Animal Veterinary Emergency Specialty Hospital (WAVES) West Coast Animal Veterinary Emergency Specialty Hospital (WAVES) is growing, and we’re looking for an Emergency Veterinarian to join our exceptional ER and specialty team in beautiful Victoria, BC.

WAVES is a 24/7 emergency and referral hospital serving Vancouver Island and surrounding communities.

Since opening in 2019, we have built a strong reputation for advanced patient care and collaborative medicine.

Our team includes boarded specialists in critical care, surgery, internal medicine, neurology, and interventional radiology/endoscopy, supported by highly skilled RVTs and experienced support staff.

Our modern 9,700 sq. ft. hospital is fully equipped with advanced diagnostics and treatment capabilities including MRI, in-house CT, digital radiography, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, dedicated ICU space, underwater treadmill therapy, and three fully equipped surgical suites.

We see a diverse and high-acuity caseload that offers endless opportunities for learning, mentorship, and professional development.

The Opportunity We are looking for a veterinarian who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values collaboration, and brings both strong clinical skills and compassion to emergency patient care.

You will work closely with our ER and specialty teams to provide exceptional care for urgent and critical cases while supporting clients through challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
