The Certified Health Care Aide provides essential personal care, hygiene assistance, and companionship to clients in their homes. Responsibilities also include meal preparation, light housekeeping, and documenting care according to the established care plan.
Candidates must hold a Health Care Aide Certificate or an equivalent qualification, such as being a nursing student or foreign-trained nurse. Current CPR/First Aid training and the ability to travel within the location territory are also required.

Job Summary The Certified Health Care Aide is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs.
Assistance with personal care and hygiene Meal Preparation Light Housekeeping Accompany clients on outings Shopping and errands Medication Assist/ Reminders Ambulation and transporting of clients Provide companionship to clients Ability to follow care-plan Documentation/Charting
