At Precision Health, Members will unveil a new level of health awareness, working with their care team to combine data from imaging, genomics, bio analytics and physical testing to unlock visibility across every dimension of their health. Members will be provided with personalized, actionable health plans based on their unique individual needs, allowing them to reach their optimal health potential. By combining in-office visits with remote health monitoring, virtual care consultations and an intuitive patient app, Precision Health supports members every step of the way. As a Medical Imaging Technologist, you'll be the first clinical touchpoint for our members, gathering precise diagnostic data through bone densitometry and body composition imaging that forms the foundation of our care team's personalized health recommendations. You'll work alongside physicians, health coaches, and other care professionals to deliver an exceptional member experience. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to evolving our clinical protocols and training standards as Precision Health grows.   • Technologist you will be responsible for: Core Clinical Responsibilities:

Perform bone density and body composition scans, serving members who are actively engaged in their health journey and seeking preventative insights

Ensure patients are correctly identified and maintain patient confidentiality at all times

Explain procedures to members and assist in positioning to facilitate accurate, high-quality imaging

Ensure complete and accurate patient screening and that imaging quality standards are maintained maintain imaging quality standards in accordance with clinic and regulatory requirements

Reproduce scans accurately and troubleshoot positioning or technical issues as they arise

Assist members in addressing any needs or concerns that arise during their visit

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all imaging records are completed appropriately within required systems

Operational & Quality Excellence

Perform routine performance checks on equipment and peripherals; report non-operational equipment or equipment failure to the Operations Manager

Maintain organized, clean procedure areas and ensure materials are prepared in advance

Participate in educational programs, trainings, and workshops deemed appropriate to maintain clinical excellence

Support accreditation, quality assurance, and safety initiatives as required

Team & Mentorship

Lead training and evaluation of new imaging technologists, contributing to the establishment of clinical excellence standards across the team

Support the continuous evolution of imaging protocols and procedures based on clinical best practices and feedback

Collaborate closely with clinical and operational leadership to support workflow optimization and exceptional member experience

What You Bring Must-Haves

Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program and current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)

Current MRT registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic & Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT) — Alberta-based regulatory requirement

Proficiency in performing bone densitometry scans and body composition imaging

Proficiency in using PACS/RIS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems / Radiology Information Systems) and electronic health records (EHR) platforms, with demonstrated comfort learning new health IT systems

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and genuine comfort explaining technical procedures to members from diverse backgrounds and health literacy levels

Strong professional judgment, organized and able to manage your time effectively

Strong problem solver with ability to critically think and analyze data

Diligent, autonomous, punctual, discreet, with excellent people skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality standards

Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary care team

Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and delivering a high-touch member experience

Great-to-Haves

1+ years of experience working in bone mineral density (BMD) imaging — this accelerates your impact and reduces training time

Experience operating bone densitometry devices, particularly GE Lunar Prodigy systems (training on our specific equipment will be provided to qualified candidates without prior Prodigy experience)

Ability to create protocols and manuals to support team training and standardization

Experience working in a preventative health, executive health, or private healthcare environment is considered an asset

Requirements
