The Community Outreach Advocate provides system navigation and advocacy to help vulnerable community members experiencing homelessness transition to sustainable lifestyles. Key duties include conducting intakes, connecting guests with internal and external resources, and documenting progress in HMIS and EMR systems.
A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Psychology is preferred, along with a valid Class 5 Driver's License. Candidates should have experience working with vulnerable populations and knowledge of Calgary's mental health and addiction resources.
