The Registered Psychiatric Nurse provides assessment, treatment, intervention, and crisis management for clients within a mental health and addictions team. They also participate in quality initiatives and engage in collaborative, person-centered care using information technology to support best practices.
Graduate from an accredited School of Psychiatric Nursing required Eligible for registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing (NSCN) required Two (2) years recent clinical experience specific to Mental Health & Addictions BLS-C (HCP) Certification required Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NCVI) required Suicide Risk Assessment and Intervention Certification or willingness to obtain Experience in working with high risk clients Ability to work effectively in multiple software applications
