The Personal Support Worker provides essential personal care, hygiene assistance, and companionship to clients in their homes. Responsibilities include meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and documenting client progress.
Candidates must hold a Personal Support Worker certificate or be a foreign-trained nurse or nursing student. Required qualifications include current CPR/First Aid training, a negative TB test, and the ability to travel within the specified service territories.

Job Summary The Personal Support Worker is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs.
Assistance with personal care and hygiene Meal Preparation Light Housekeeping Accompany clients on outings Shopping and errands Medication Assist/ Reminders Ambulation and transporting of clients Provide companionship to clients Ability to follow care-plan Documentation/Charting
Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student). Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray Ability to travel around Georgetown, Milton and Acton territory Access to Internet/mobile phone
