Perform routine screening mammography, diagnostic radiography, and fluoroscopy while ensuring safe radiation protection practices. Manage patient data entry in RIS/PACS, prepare patients for procedures, and maintain imaging equipment quality control.
Requires CAMRT certification and successful completion of CAMRT Mammography 1 or an equivalent qualification. Candidates must have at least one year of recent experience in both mammography and general radiographic procedures.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Mammography/Bone Densitometry and Site Coordinator, Medical Imaging, the Radiological Technologist, Screening Mammography/General Procedures, practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice as well as utilizing a client and family centered care model and the vision and values of the department within Fraser Health (FH). The Radiological Technologist performs routine screening mammography, diagnostic radiography/fluoroscopy and other medical imaging procedures/techniques; observes safe radiation protection procedures. Duties include receiving and completing requisitions, entering relevant data into the Radiology Information System (RIS), preparing examination trays and patients for specific procedures, operating computerized imaging equipment including processing and archiving of acquired data, monitoring patient during procedures and monitoring equipment performance and maintaining cleanliness of examination rooms.
Qualifications: Education, Training and Experience
Certification with the CAMRT. Successful completion of CAMRT Mammography 1 or equivalent. One year's recent, related experience in Mammography procedures and recent, related experience performing general radiographic procedures.
