The Clinic Nurse delivers harm reduction and supportive treatment for patients with opiate dependency using a patient-centered model. Key duties include administering medications, performing clinical tests like ECGs and venipuncture, and maintaining accurate electronic medical records.
Candidates must be a Registered Practical Nurse or hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and be a member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Required certifications include First Aid and CPR, along with a commitment to working with individuals facing addiction and mental health challenges.

The Clinic Nurse is accountable for the development and delivery of a range of harm reduction and supportive treatment modalities for patients with opiate dependency based on a patient centered model of care. The ideal candidate is a compassionate, caring individual and who can understand the challenges our patients and their families face. As the ideal candidate you are a nurse who is able to interact with diverse and cultural clients while delivering exceptional support and treatment. Working within a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals, you have excellent communication skills, thrive on working within a team within a busy clinic work environment.
