Specifics
Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: 5 days per week Must be available for evenings and weekends Wage: $23 – $28/hour (based on experience) What You’ll Do Assist the dentist chairside during procedures while ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms following strict infection control protocols Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and dental procedures Take and develop X-rays (if certified) and maintain accurate patient records Support front desk operations as needed, including scheduling and patient communication Contribute to a positive, patient-focused clinic environment Assist with procedures including implants, extractions, bone grafts, and root canals What You’ll Bring to the Role Minimum 1 year of Dental Assistant experience preferred Certification as a Level II Dental Assistant HARP and CPR certification required Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities in a fast-paced environment A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and within a team Comfort using dental software systems and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) Evening and weekend availability IPAC and WHMIS certification considered an asset iTero scanning experience considered an asset
