You will have the opportunity to work a balanced mix of CT, ultrasound, X‑ray, mammography, and interventional procedures, providing a broad and engaging diagnostic practice. Echocardiography is optional if you wish to incorporate it into your skill set. Looking ahead, Shuswap Lake General Hospital is preparing for significant growth: MRI capability is planned for installation between 2029 and 2030, with access to remote MRI work already available. In addition, CT services are expected to expand to Queen Victoria Hospital in Revelstoke within the same 2029–2030 timeframe.
