Implement and deliver personalized rehabilitation programs as prescribed by regulated health care practitioners for adult and pediatric clients. Document client progress and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster client independence and re-integration.
Requires completion of a recognized Rehabilitation, Physiotherapy, or Occupational Therapy college program, or a degree in Kinesiology. Must possess a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
Depending on work assignment, may include some or all of the following : Empower Clients: Implement personalized rehabilitation programs in collaboration with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, and Speech and Language Pathologists. Foster Independence: Promote maximum independence for clients at home, in the community, and at work to support their re-integration. Lead Exercise Programs: Conduct engaging exercise programs and group exercise classes. Support Behavioral Health: Implement effective behavioral interventions tailored to each client’s needs. Enhance Daily Living: Facilitate and supervise activities of daily living, along with social, educational, and vocational re-integration plans. Boost Cognitive Skills: Implement cognitive therapy programs to enhance clients’ cognitive abilities. Encourage Leisure: Promote and organize enjoyable leisure activities for clients. Collaborate with Teams: Attend case conferences and team meetings to ensure comprehensive care. Provide Transportation: Drive clients safely as needed (with valid insurance coverage). Ensure Safety: Understand and implement infection prevention practices to maintain a safe environment. Commit to Learning: Participate in ongoing internal and external continuing education activities. Adapt to Needs: Complete additional tasks as requested to support client care. Why Join Us?
