We're a dedicated, compassionate, and fun-loving team that values collaboration and community — and we’re looking to welcome a full-time (4-5 days per week) Veterinarian (DVM) to our growing hospital community.

You’ll join a supportive, knowledgeable team that values high-quality medicine, mutual respect, and a shared passion for animals.

Our hospital already has an experienced DVM and 3 RVTs that offer compassionate and high quality veterinary care.

North Bay is nestled on the shores of Lake Nipissing, North Bay is the Gateway to the North — where small-town charm meets a vibrant lifestyle.

Enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities like hiking, skiing, snowmobiling, and lakefront adventures, all year round.

The city also boasts a dynamic cultural scene with diverse restaurants, music and food festivals, the Capitol Centre performing arts theatre, and our OHL team, the North Bay Battalion.

Is This Role Right For You?

Our ideal Locum Veterinarian (DVM) will demonstrate an exemplary standard of medicine with patients in a compassionate and caring manner.

The DVM will be largely responsible for clinical work and will combine clinical expertise, emotional intelligence and utilize a servant leadership mindset to promote excellence in veterinary medicine.

We will only consider candidates who hold or are eligible to hold a full General Veterinary License in Ontario at the time of their application.

Requirements

Candidates must hold or be eligible for a full General Veterinary License in Ontario. A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree is required.
