About the role

Home Support Workers assist patients with activities of daily living to promote independence and dignity. They provide compassionate care in home and community settings under the supervision of a Personal Support Manager.

Overview Home Support Workers are an integral part of a health care team, and in this role, you will encourage, support, and promote independence for patients in home and community care settings by assisting with activities of daily living under the supervision of our Personal Support Manager. We are looking for Home Support Workers (HSWs) to help us bring patient and family-centered care to in patients in the Elmvale, Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Midland, Penetanguishene, and Waubaushene areas. Are you someone we should meet? Our next course intake dates are below: June 9, 2026 This course consists of virtual and in-person training. The following is required for attendance in the program: Internet access A laptop or device that has a webcam and is compatible with Microsoft Teams (CarePartners equipment will be available to attend training upon request)

HSWs assist with activities of daily living, allowing patients and families to live life to the fullest with dignity and independence: Bathing, showering, personal hygiene Dressing Meal preparation Transferring/repositioning Light housekeeping Bowel/bladder care Socializing and companionship What You Bring A caring nature and willingness to help others through excellent customer service A desire to support your community and enhance someone’s quality of life Ability to attend the full time training program A valid driver’s license (G or G2 Classification), access to a reliable vehicle, and proof of automobile insurance To protect our patients, we require current vulnerable sector check screening, and a clear background check
