Position Summary

Provide Pediatric community medical consultation services for new patients and follow-ups. As a member of our turnkey clinic, you will provide day-to-day direction to your assigned Medical Office Assistant to ensure a safe and well-run clinic. Work collaboratively with our team of physicians and administrative staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

What you will be doing

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient care for infants, children, and adolescents
  • Conduct routine well-child visits, growth and developmental assessments, and immunizations
  • Diagnose and manage acute pediatric illnesses (e.g., infections, respiratory issues, minor injuries)
  • Manage chronic pediatric conditions such as asthma,allergies, and eczema
  • Provide developmental screening and early identification of behavioral or learning concerns
  • Offer counselling and education to parents/caregivers on health, nutrition, and preventive care
  • Order and interpret appropriate investigations (labs, imaging, etc.)
  • Coordinate care with family physicians, specialists, and allied health professionals
  • Make referrals to pediatric subspecialists or hospital services when required
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete medical documentation in the EMR

You have

The successful candidate must hold a Doctor of Medicine Degree with specialization in Pediatric Medicine.

The successful candidate must be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.

PALS, CPSM license in good standing.

Membership in good standing with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).

The salary for this position falls within a defined range and will be determined based on several factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the needs of the organization. Requirements

Must hold a Doctor of Medicine degree with a specialization in Pediatric Medicine and be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Requires registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba and membership in the CMPA.
