The Basic Radiological Technician/Laboratory Clerk assists with and supports the provision of diagnostic imaging and laboratory services in community health centres. This includes performing x-rays, electrocardiograms, holter monitor installations, and lab-related duties.
Candidates are required to have a high school diploma and complete a Basic Radiological Technician/Lab Clerk training program within three years of hire. Knowledge of Inuit communities and culture, as well as fluency in multiple official languages of Nunavut, are considered assets.

Open until filled This employment opportunity is restricted to Nunavut Inuit who reside in Clyde River and Pond Inlet only. Reporting to the Supervisor Health Programs, the Basic Radiological Technician/Laboratory Clerk is responsible for assisting with and supporting the provision of diagnostic imaging and laboratory services in community health centres by performing x-rays and related procedures, electrocardiograms (ECG), holter monitor installations and lab-related dutiesin order for Nunavummiut to access care in their home community.
