Provide routine nursing procedures and personal care to residents, including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance. Monitor resident health by taking vital signs and reporting physical or mental changes to nursing staff.
Requires Grade 10 education and graduation from a recognized Nursing Assistant Program or equivalent experience. Must be registered with the BC Care Aide and Health Worker Registry.
Responsible to the Director of Care and Assistant Director of Care and working under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse; this position performs a variety of routine nursing procedures and related duties necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of residents.
Qualifications: Education, Training, and Experience
Grade 10, plus graduation from a recognized Nursing Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Registration with the BC Care Aide and Health Worker Registry.
