As a Physiotherapist at Health Sciences North, you will play a key role in enhancing patients’ mobility, strength, balance, and flexibility—whether they are recovering from injury or surgery, or managing complex medical conditions. Working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team in our state-of-the-art facility, you will assess physical function, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to help patients achieve their highest possible level of independence and quality of life.
Physiotherapists at HSN also contribute to discharge planning, patient education, and collaborative care planning to ensure safe transitions across care settings. Physiotherapist Qualifications/Skills
Current Certificate of Registration in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. However, candidates expected to obtain registration in the next few months and recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Ministry of Labour “Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps” training certificate is required.
Additional qualifications may be required.
$38.82 to $54.77 / hour

The incentive grant program offers taxable incentive grants of up to $5,000 per eligible year, to a maximum of $15,000 paid over a three-year period to physiotherapist, who establish their practice in Northern Ontario and accept full-time positions which are fully funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC) and which are approved by the Northern Health Programs (NHP).
