Perform routine and specialized ultrasound procedures while ensuring the proper application of technical imaging techniques. Provide direct patient care and support the overall functioning of the Diagnostic Imaging Department across multiple sites.
Must be a graduate of an accredited sonography school with Sonography Canada certification and NSCMIRTP licensure. Current CPR certification is required, and previous experience or additional ultrasound credentials are considered assets.

The purpose of this position involves the performance of routine and specialized ultrasound procedures in the Diagnostic Imaging Department ensuring proper application of ultrasound techniques and procedures. Travel to other sites may be required. Multi Site - This position is based out of QEII Health Sciences Centre (Victoria General and Halifax Infirmary) and may be scheduled to work out of the Bayer’s Lake Community Outpatient Clinic.About You We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Sonography Canada certification Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure Current CPR Certification Comprehension of the technical language to be able to review and use manuals and take part in relevant discussions Previous experience is an asset Registration with more than one ultrasound credential is an asset Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
