Licensure for international educated psychologist

Before applying for a psychologist position in Nova Scotia, you’ll need to be licensed by the Nova Scotia Regulator of Psychology (NSRP). For U.S.-trained psychologists, this process focuses on confirming that your education, supervised experience, and examinations meet Canadian standards. It typically includes credential review, completion of supervised practice requirements, and passing the Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP), with additional assessments as required.
