Nova Scotia Health is hiring Diagnostic Medical Sonographers and Cardiac Sonographers across the province. The Sonographer reports to the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging, as a member of the Diagnostic Imaging Team performs patient care, technical activities and duties directly related to the overall functioning of the department. The purpose of this position involves the performance of routine and specialized ultrasound procedures in the Diagnostic Imaging Department ensuring proper application of ultrasound techniques and procedures.

HOURS
Various sites and community-based locations throughout Nova Scotia. You will be asked to specify your work location preferences in the screening questions that follow once you click 'Apply now >>'.
Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Travel to other sites may be required.
$38.74 - $47.50 hourly
$43.56 - $52.45 hourly

Must be a graduate of an accredited sonography school with Sonography Canada certification and NSCMIRTP licensure. Current CPR certification is required, and proficiency in French is considered an asset.
