The Physiotherapist assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients with impairments, pain, or functional limitations across various clinical settings. They are also responsible for educating patients and supervising physiotherapy students and assistants.
Requires a Bachelor's degree or entry-level Master's in Physiotherapy and membership with the Nova Scotia Physiotherapy Regulator. BCLS certification and proficiency in computer skills are also required.

Bachelor's degree or entry level master program in Physiotherapy from an accredited university Membership with the Nova Scotia Physiotherapy Regulator (Provincial licensing body) Computer skills (statistics input, word processing, Outlook) Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification (BCLS) Physiotherapy is a diverse profession requiring additional courses/education/training in many specialized areas or practice, e.g., cardio-respiratory techniques, acupuncture, stroke rehabilitation, manual therapy, balance training, etc Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
