The incumbent performs clerical, receptionist, and scheduling duties within the Nursing Department. Key tasks include managing office supplies, handling incoming calls, and assisting with accounts payable.
Requires a secondary school diploma and at least one year of college diploma/certificate in Business Management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills are essential.
DIRECTOR OF CARE (NURSING) CLERK Reporting to the Director of Care and Assistant Director of Care, the incumbent performs clerical, receptionist and scheduling duties within the Nursing Department. Will also liaise and integrate nursing support functions within the broader administrative functions through the Office Manager. What you’ll be doing · Performs a variety of clerical duties including typing, photocopying and filing. · Orders office supplies and ensures all Care Centres are adequately stocked. · Assists in accounts payable. · Receives and directs all incoming telephone calls and greets and directs all visitors as required. · Other duties as assigned. What you bring · Secondary School Graduation Diploma. · Minimum 1 year Community College Diploma/Certificate in Business Management. · Minimum 1 year Community College Diploma/Certificate in a clinical related program an asset. · Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. · Ability to present information verbally and /or in writing clearly and effectively. · Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff. · Proven integrity through open and honest interactions with Nursing Management and staff. · Superb organizational, planning, time management and multi-tasking skills. · Ability to treat information in a confidential manner.
