Job Description

The Nurse Practitioner will blend their in-depth knowledge with their understanding of the legislation to assess and support the full range of options for end of life care including Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID). The Nurse Practitioner collaborates with interdisciplinary team members and liaises with health professionals and agencies throughout the province to facilitate high quality care for the patient and family seeking this service. The position will require response to needs in all health facilities and dwellings within the neighboring rural areas.

Candidates must hold a Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner degree and possess at least one year of community/palliative experience plus three years of emergency or critical care experience. A valid Class 5 driver's license and Basic Life Support certification are also required.
