The Health Care Aide provides resident-focused care, including medication administration, bathing, and grooming, while maintaining a clean and safe environment. They also participate in multidisciplinary care conferences and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Candidates must hold a Health Care Aide certificate and possess a valid CPR/BCLS certification. Active enrollment in the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory and a clear police information check with a vulnerable sector search are mandatory.
