This is a pioneering role within a new recovery transitional housing program. Reporting to the Recovery Supervisor, the Occupational Therapist will be part of a multidisciplinary team supporting a sober‑based recovery model with rolling intakes. The program focuses on skill‑building, trauma understanding, social connection, and relapse‑prevention, alongside transitional housing supports that build recovery capital in areas such as independent living, financial literacy, employment, and connection to long‑term community supports.
As one of the first to shape this role, the Occupational Therapist will help establish practices and processes while supporting individuals experiencing homelessness or poverty through functional assessments and strategies that promote sustainable living. Collaboration with Resident Engagement, Property Management, and other internal teams is essential to improving residents’ quality of life and supporting long‑term housing stability.
