Reporting to the Manager of Interprofessional Practice, the incumbent, an interdisciplinary team member, provides services to patients receiving treatment in the Rehabilitation Centre at Saskatoon City Hospital. The program focus is to facilitate optimal independence for people who have temporary/permanent disability; patients primarily present with neurological conditions. The incumbent assesses, treats and provides consultation regarding the psychosocial factors related to physical and cognitive disability. The incumbent provides clinical services to patients and families, primarily during their inpatient stay. The incumbent provides consultation to interdisciplinary team members and coordinates Social Work team service. The incumbent participates in program/policy development, and represents psychology within/outside of the program.
