The Primary Care Nurse will diagnose and treat limited common medical disorders using clinical decision tools and established nursing guidelines. They are also responsible for building community partnerships, conducting needs assessments, and supporting inter-professional collaboration.
Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and possess the Additional Authorized Practice (AAP) designation. Candidates must also be registered or eligible for registration with the CRNS as an RN(AAP).

Applicants are required to have the Additional Authorized Practice (AAP) designation. In the event there are no fully qualified applicants, The Saskatchewan Health Authority would be willing to sponsor current employees who are Registered Nurses and want to take the required Advanced Authorized Practice Program at Saskatchewan Polytechnic with an anticipated completion date of July 1, 2026. This course is a requirement to work as a RN-AAP in Saskatchewan.
