Candidates must have at least one year of experience in community needs assessment and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Registration as a Registered Nurse Practitioner is required.

Experience One year experience in community needs assessment/development/health promotion Experience as RN (NP) in a Primary Health Care setting preferred. Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Licenses Registered Nurse Practitioner (RN(NP)) Other Education and Training Registered/eligible for registration with the CRNS as an RN (NP) or RN (GNP) Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS) Certification in recognized Primary Care NP equivalent program is acceptable Knowledge and Abilities Demonstrates knowledge in community development/assessment. Knowledge of population health approach to health promotion/prevention Scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period
