The Nurse Practitioner will work in the Sexually Transmitted Diseases Specialty Clinic, providing care and support to patients. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing care plans, and promoting health within the community.
Candidates should have experience as a Registered Nurse (NP) in a Primary Health Care setting and one year of experience in community needs assessment and health promotion. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) and certification in a recognized Primary Care NP program are required.

Experience Experience as RN (NP) in a Primary Health Care setting preferred. One year experience in community needs assessment/development/health promotion Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Licenses Registered Nurse Practitioner (RN(NP)) Other Education and Training Certification in recognized Primary Care NP equivalent program is acceptable Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS) Registered/eligible for registration with the CRNS as an RN (NP) or RN (GNP) Knowledge and Abilities Knowledge of population health approach to health promotion/prevention Demonstrates knowledge in community development/assessment.
