Provide person-centered support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community and home-based settings. Implement personalized plans, positive behavioural support strategies, and assist with community, social, and recreational activities.
Requires a diploma in Community Social Services or equivalent and at least one year of direct support experience. Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s License, First Aid certification, and the ability to pass a Vulnerable Sector Check.

Inclusion Langley Society (ILS) has exciting opportunities for Casual Community Support Workers to join our Community Inclusion and Supported Living Services. In this role, you will provide meaningful, person-centred support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping create inclusive, fulfilling lives within the community.

Reporting to a Program Supervisor, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality supports by assisting with the implementation and ongoing review of personalized plans, promoting health and safety, and supporting access to community-based opportunities. Through your work, you will help create an environment where individuals are empowered, respected and supported to live meaningful and fulfilling lives.
The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in potentially high-stress environments and apply positive behavioural support strategies and evidence-based behavioural management principles to support safety, emotional regulation, and positive outcomes.
