KLH performs 23,000+ imaging studies per year and performs ultrasound scans, Vascular, AB, Breast, OB/Gyn, Small Parts and MSK (Shoulders). As a sonographer at Kootenay Lake Hospital, you will be responsible for providing medical and surgical specialty services to patients throughout the service area. This is a Relief Full Time (1.0) opportunity until the return of the incumbent. Shifts of work will be scheduled rotating day shifts. Qualfications Graduate of a recognized/accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasonography). Current certification with Sonography Canada as required for the assigned practice area (such as, Generalist and/or Cardiac) and/or current certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as required for the assigned practice area (such as, Abdomen/Small Parts, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Cardiac, and/or Vascular) or be certified with Sonography Canada and have passed the Sonography Canada Skills Assessment (CCSA). Eligible for membership with Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS.

Requirements

Graduate of a recognized/accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Current certification with Sonography Canada or ARDMS for the assigned practice area. Eligible for membership with Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS. Pass the Sonography Canada Skills Assessment (CCSA) if certified with Sonography Canada
