Physician Assistants collect and interpret medical information to make clinical decisions and perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. They work within a formalized relationship with a physician to provide patient and family-centered care in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Candidates must hold an accredited Physician Assistant degree and be eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan. Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (CCPA) is required, along with a valid driver's license.

Physician Assistants (PAs) are academically and clinically educated medical generalists who practice medicine within a formalized relationship with a Physician. Regulated by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS), PAs collect and interpret medical information, make appropriate clinical decisions, and carry out diagnostic and therapeutic interventions within a formalized Physician/PA relationship agreement approved by the CPSS.
